The world’s stories have gone missing and inspectors Dexter Sharpe and Poppy Hasluck need your help to uncover who is responsible!
Become the newest recruit of The Bureau of Untold Stories and join our daring detectives as they set out to solve their ever-growing pile of cases in this interactive, imagination-igniting performance. Students become part of the story as they bring to life a series of different tales from ridiculous news articles and warped fairy tales to legendary epics.
Students will learn about the inner workings of English and Literature through language devices, creative writing and thinking, story structure and effective communication. Dexter and Poppy aim to have students sharing their own stories throughout the performance and within their own communities after the show.

Students per session: Maximum 250
Performance Space: 4m x 4m, access to a power outlet required

All of our performances are the same price for all regions. We are a not-for-profit organisation passionate about providing quality Arts experiences to all Queensland students, so if your school has less than 100 students, please consider combining with another school or contact the Youth Touring team to discuss your options.
Create a Story – Explore improvisation and different styles of storytelling (written, visual and audio). Students then create their own stories in a style of their choice with a showcase at the end of the workshop.
An Introduction to Podcasting – Learn how to use voice and sound effects in performance as well as the role of music in creating atmosphere, all whilst experiencing the same recording and editing techniques used in The Bureau of Untold Stories.
